Parish Life

Christ is at the heart of every thriving parish.

His work is done by the hands of the faithful CHRISTIANS who love him and live out his commands. At all saints anglican parish, we work joyfully towards sanctification together as a church family.

Children:

Sunday School:

All Saints Anglican Parish offers a serious and joyful Sunday school class for children up to the age of confirmation. In it, we explore the life of Christ and his church: liturgical colors, the church year, the things we sing and chant during mass, the Lord’s Prayer, the doxology, the role of deacons, priests, and bishops, and much more. There are children’s sized vestments and a play mass set for the children to use as they learn! We believe that children are not just the “future” of the church, but instead an important living part of its present. The church recommends and supports parents bringing their children to services with them. Since they are in the service, Sunday school “draws near” to the children and teaches them about what they are experiencing. little voices sing along with adults to the Lord’s prayer and little knees bow as the sacrament is elevated. The catechism of children is a serious and holy duty, undertaken with much love.

Nursery:

Though we encourage children to attend the service with their parents, there is nursery always available during Sunday school, church, and coffee hour! Our nursery workers are skilled with children of all ages and love them deeply. There is also a nursing/feeding chair, a changing table, lots of toys, and snacks always available for the littlest of christians.

it is a great joy for the young men of the parish to be able to serve as acolytes at the altar. beginning with just lighting candles, as they “grow in wisdom and stature” they are taught how to assist by the priests for Holy communion.
