All Saints Wilmington is a Traditional Anglican Church and a Parish of the Diocese of the Eastern United States, Anglican Province of America (APA). We are a traditional Anglican Church. This means that we believe and live by the Word of God as found in the Holy Scripture and in the unbroken fellowship begun by Jesus and his apostles. We worship using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, and we confess our faith in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds.

Our only reason to exist as a church is to worship God and present the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as faithfully as we possibly can. We attempt to present the Gospel through our worship as well as by how how we endeavor to live our lives.

Careful attention to the words we read and pray and sing in our 1928 Book of Common Prayer will reveal to you the profound message of the Gospel as believed by faithful Christians for over 2000 years, no matter what the current secular trends may urge.

Our Family
All Saints is a community of men, women, and children dedicated to the Service of our Lord and to the support of one another in our Christian life.

We work together in the Altar Guild, in the Choir, in the Ladies Guild, and other activities. We learn together through a Christian education program that includes Sunday school for both adults and children, and a mid-week Bible Study. We play together in many activities of the Parish. But far more important than any program, we support each other through friendships and love between the members of our parish. We truly bear one another’s burdens and share one another’s joys. If you seek a church home, we invite you to join
our family at any of the regularly scheduled services or events.

Our Worship
Liturgical & Sacramental are the two words that best describe our worship. Liturgy means “the word of the people”. Every person present and not just the priest, fully participates in our worship. Our worship therefore follows a specific form, so that all can know what to do and when. That form is contained in the Book of Common Prayer, one of the glories of English literature.

Sacrament is “an outward, visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace given unto us; ordained by Christ himself, as a means whereby we receive this grace, and a pledge to assure us thereof.” We recognize two sacraments as having been instituted directly by our Lord and as having been “generally necessary to salvation”: Baptism & the Holy Eucharist. We recognize the baptisms of other Christian bodies, as long as they were performed with water in the name of the Trinity. In obedience to our Lord’s command to “do this in remembrance of me,” the Holy Eucharist is our principal service of worship.
